The WSOP awarded its first official gold bracelet in an event held online in 2015. Since then, a total of 18 bracelets are awarded on WSOP.com. This year, the planners of the series decide to increase the number of WSOP online bracelet events to 14 up from 9 in 2019. Indeed, it is the largest number of online events for the WSOP in the six years that they have been in existence.

Players in both New Jersey and Nevada can compete in the online bracelet events. WSOP is set to run from May 26 to July 15. Whereas, WSOP online bracelet events are scheduled from May 31 to July 12. That included a stretch of 8 events over eight consecutive days from June 28 to July 5.

The announcement allows players in New Jersey and Nevada a shot to win big money and a gold bracelet. To point out, the WSOP.com championship costs $1,000. In fact, there are a few tournaments that are more expensive than the Championship, such as $10,000 Super High Roller and the $3,200 High Roller. Moreover, most of the events are in the 3-figure buy-in range ranging from $400 to $600.

Participants can play in WSOP.com events via mobile, tablet, or desktop for all No-Limit Hold ‘em events. However, players need a desktop connection for playing the PLO tournament. All events will feature a point-tracking leader board throughout the summer. This helps the winner to earn additional prizes.

Danielle Barille, the WSOP.com’s Director of Online Poker, said: “We believe the 2020 offering of online gold bracelet events feature our best schedule yet. In fact, this year we offer a consistent schedule of Sunday events every week of the WSOP.”
