BetMGM Launched Online Casino in Pennsylvania
BetMGM officially enters into Pennsylvania for the first time with its online gambling product. Today, the iGaming company soft-launched Online Casino in the Keystone State. Once the three days test period is successful, they go fully live on Friday, December 4, making it the 13th online casino in PA.
BetMGM began three days of a soft launch for its online casino in PA on Tuesday – 2 pm to 10 pm, Wednesday – 10 am to 8 pm, and Thursday – 10 am to 10 pm.
Also, BetMGM has plans to bring its online sports betting and poker products to PA. However, the timetable remains unclear.
BetMGM Online Casino Pennsylvania Launch
In Pennsylvania, the Delaware-based BetMGM LLC had originally made its application as a QGE in January 2019. Later in October 2019, MGM paid $12 million in order to offer all three online gambling verticals including slots, table games, and poker.
Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) approved both interactive gaming operator and sports wagering operator licenses for BetMGM on Oct. 28. The operator would be utilizing Hollywood Casino Skin in control of Penn National Gaming. Penn National already has its own Hollywood Casino online gaming site and provides access for DraftKings’ Online Casino as well through a partnership.
There will be limited gaming access during the soft launch period. Once the online casino is fully launched, you can play 24/7.
