BetMGM becomes official sports betting partner of Detroit Tigers
Partnerships between sportsbooks and sports franchises continue to expand. On Wednesday, 31 March 2021, Detroit Tigers announced BetMGM as their official gaming partner. This multi-year deal is just in time for the 2021 MLB season and will help both the Tigers and BetMGM to promote their game and brand respectively. BetMGM signage prominently feature at Comerica Park, fan promotions, and sponsored presence on Tigers’ digital channels.

Detroit Tigers and BetMGM new deal
Back in November, BetMGM became an official gaming partner of Major League Baseball. In addition, they also made a multi-year deal with Washington Nationals in January. Now, the new deal between BetMGM and Detroit Tigers acts as clear sign of growing mutual relationships between the top sports betting providers and US major sports leagues.
David Tsai, President, Midwest Group, MGM Resorts said, “MGM Grand Detroit is ready to welcome Tigers and sports betting fans to our BetMGM Sports Lounge before, during, and after games for an innovative and exciting experience.”
According to the multi-year deal, BetMGM will be integrated across the Tigers’ digital and social platforms like the MLB Ballpark App. Moreover, BetMGM signage will also feature at Comerica Park, including on the out-of-town scoreboard and the speed pitch LED board.
